EFM-LAB of the University of Cyprus participated in Researchers’ Night 2024! It was an excellent opportunity to showcase their work, highlighting science, innovation, and creativity and to inform the public about their ongoing research activities.

Among their featured activities, EFM-LAB shared the EU Horizon Europe project CiROCCO, presenting the methodology and innovative equipment developed for use within the project. They also addressed the challenge of Desert Dust Storm Events Monitoring and Warning, which the project aims to tackle.

Additionally, they presented the EU Horizon Europe project TRIGGER, explaining the establishment of Climate and Health Community (CHC) labs in 5 cities across Europe. These labs will provide critical insights into the impact of climate change on human health and help translate findings into policy guidelines at various levels.
