The first review meeting of CiROCCO EU Project was successfully conducted in Athens, on the 26th of November!

A big thank you to our Project Officer Lara Congiu, and all Work Package and Task leaders for traveling to Athens for this event; as well as to our external reviewers Vasco Mantas and Aravind Ravichandran for joining us online, and providing valuable feedback on the progress of the project.

During the meeting, the consortium presented major progress in:

• Coordination and Ethics: Ensuring robust management, compliance, and ethical integrity.
• User-Oriented Innovations: Insights from stakeholder mapping, system design, and pilot specifications.
• Technology Development: Advancements in low-cost sensing nodes, wireless networks, and data platforms.
• Pilots and Impact: Projects addressing renewable energy in Egypt, dust monitoring in Cyprus, environmental restoration in Serbia, and greenhouse gas modeling in Spain.
• Outreach: Efforts in dissemination, capacity building, and market readiness.

We are all looking forward to the next phase of the project, and to making even more impactful achievements!
