CiROCCO partner eBOS at the 9th CapTech

On February 25-27, 2025, eBOS Technologies participated in the 9th CapTech Energy & Environment (EnE) Meeting, organized by the European Defence Agency (EDA) in Larnaca, Cyprus.

This significant event brought together EU defense representatives, policymakers, industry experts, and research organizations to address pressing energy, environmental, and climate change challenges within the defense sector. The meeting focused on identifying technological gaps, proposing collaborative projects, and promoting sustainable energy solutions to enhance the resilience and efficiency of military operations across Europe.

During the Pitching Session of Domestic Research and Technology Organizations (RTOs) and Industry, eBOS Technologies presented its advancements in environmental monitoring systems, particularly those developed under the CiROCCO Project. This session provided a platform for eBOS to showcase its innovative solutions alongside other Cypriot SMEs.

CiROCCO Project Highlight
eBOS showcased its low-cost, stand-alone environmental monitoring system designed for desert and sandstorm conditions. This modular system integrates multiple environmental sensors to monitor key parameters, supporting applications such as border control, critical infrastructure protection, and remote environmental surveillance.
Key Features:
• Modular & Scalable Design: Supports over 10 sensor connections for comprehensive environmental monitoring.
• Multi-Technology Communication: Utilizes LTE, LoRa, satellite (Astrocast), and WiFi for seamless data transmission in remote areas.
• Energy Efficiency: Employs low-power operation with solar energy harvesting for extended field deployment.
• Over-the-Air (OTA) Firmware Updates: Enables real-time system enhancements and remote maintenance.

Participation in the 9th CapTech EnE Meeting underscores eBOS’s commitment to advancing environmental monitoring technologies that align with European defense energy strategies, enhancing resilience, operational efficiency, and environmental sustainability in military and critical infrastructure operations.
